Abbye Bell, from Grenada, Mississippi, is an Honors Associate of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College at the University of Mississippi. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in biological sciences with minors in chemistry and psychology. A Provost Scholar and a member of Delta Gamma fraternity, Abbye is also a member of several registered student organizations, such as the American Medical Student Association, Alpha Epsilon Delta, and Tri Beta, where she serves as an executive member on each council. After graduating from Ole Miss, she plans to attend graduate school to receive her master’s degree in biological sciences and then pursue a career in the medical field. In her free time, Abbye enjoys reading, shopping and attending Ole Miss athletic games.
