Ahmed Moumad, from Ridgeland, Mississippi, is a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College at the University of Mississippi. A graduate of Ridgeland High School, he was a National Merit finalist. Ahmed is majoring in computer science and biochemistry at Ole Miss. A native of Houara, Morocco, he is the treasurer of the Ole Miss Vietnamese American Student Association (OleVasa) and a member of the Ole Miss Soccer Club. After graduation, he plans to begin his career in the computer science field and eventually hopes to return to higher education to pursue another degree. In his free time, Ahmed enjoys playing soccer and volleyball and reading the occasional book – most recently science fiction.
