My Linh Niolet, from Pass Christian, Mississippi, is majoring in secondary education: social studies. She is a member of the Pride of the South marching band and a Sullivan fellow. In her spare time, My Linh enjoys crocheting, critiquing movies and reading. Her favorite book at the moment is “Breaking the Bamboo Ceiling” by Jane Hyun.

Lampton Moore

Lampton Moore, from Jackson, Mississippi, is a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. A graduate of Jackson Prep, he is majoring in general business and on the pre-med track at Ole Miss. Lampton is involved in Ole Miss Club tennis team and RebelTHON. He is a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. In his free time, Lampton enjoys playing basketball, eating a good meal, and watching movies.

Elizabeth Anne Mitchell

Elizabeth Anne Mitchell, from Pontotoc, Mississippi, is a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and the Phi Mu fraternity at the University of Mississippi. A graduate of Pontotoc High School, she is majoring in biomedical engineering at Ole Miss. In her free time, she enjoys watching sports and reading.

Livi Matulich

Olivia “Livi” Matulich, from Atlanta, Georgia, is a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College at the University of Mississippi. A graduate of Dunwoody High School, she is majoring in integrated marketing communications at Ole Miss, where she is also a member of the Tri Delta sorority. In her free time, Livi enjoys playing Ole Miss Women’s Club Lacrosse.

Calli Hull

Calli Hull, from St. Louis, Missouri, is a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. She is a graduate of Wentzville Holt High School, where she played softball and received the seal of Biliteracy in Spanish. At Ole Miss, Calli is pursuing a degree in mathematics and secondary education in mathematics. A photographer for the Daily Mississippian, she is a member of the Delta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi. Calli is also a part of Aiding Animals in which she is the social media chair. In her free time, she enjoys photography and watching sports.

Sydney Cooksey

Sydney Cooksey, from Biloxi, Mississippi, graduated from the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science. She is majoring in English with a minor in Russian. In her free time, Sydney loves to read, cook and spend time with her two sisters.

Belle Blasdel

Belle Blasdel, from Tampa, Florida, is a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College at the University of Mississippi. She is majoring in accounting and is heavily involved in Young Life and Reformed University Fellowship. Growing up, one of the most important things in her life was her summer camp called Mapleridge Ranch, and she now serves as an ambassador in recruiting for it!

Reagan Allen

Reagan Allen, from Birmingham, Alabama, is a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. She is majoring in international studies through the Croft Institute and Chinese through UM’s Chinese Flagship Program. A graduate of Westminster School at Oak Mountain, Reagan is a humanities editor for Venture: The UM Undergraduate Research Journal and treasurer for the Coalition for Chinese Language and Culture. She is also a member of the Croft Institute, Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and the Global Ambassador program.

Lilly Slaughter

Lilly Slaughter is a second-year graduate student in the Southern Studies program at the University of Mississippi. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, she received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Louisville. Her academic interests in how food is grown, accessed and prepared stem from her previous experiences working on organic farms and for food justice organizations in rural communities. Lilly is happy to spend her last year of graduate school with the Ole Miss First community.

Lucy Gaines

Lucy Gaines is a first-year graduate student in the Southern Studies program at the University of Mississippi. Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, she earned her undergraduate degree at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, with majors in English Literature and Studio Art. Lucy then moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where she worked in writing, creative marketing and team management before returning to Mississippi. Outside of her studies, she remains a professional writer and enthusiast of Southern arts and literature, and is delighted to be a part of the Ole Miss First community.
